This document explains the specific consent required when you ask KreditScore ("KreditScore") to fetch or check your credit information score/report from a credit information company (such as TransUnion CIBIL, Experian, Equifax, or CRIF High Mark) (each, a "Bureau"). This consent is separate from, and in addition to, the general consent described in our Privacy Policy.
1. Appointment as Authorised Representative
By providing your consent — electronically, by checking a box, or through any other recorded method — you appoint KreditScore as your authorised representative to receive your credit information report and score ("Credit Information") from the Bureau on your behalf.
2. Purpose of Use
We will use your Credit Information solely to:
(a) assess your creditworthiness in relation to the loan product(s) you are applying for through our Lending Partner(s); (b) periodically check your credit score/report during the validity period mentioned in Section 3, in order to identify and show you personalized pre-approved offers from our Lending Partner(s) that match your credit profile, without needing to ask you again each time within that period; and (c) where you have opted in, provide you with credit score tracking or monitoring as a feature of the Platform.
We will not use your Credit Information for any purpose beyond what is stated above without taking fresh, specific consent from you.
3. Validity and Renewal of Consent
This consent is valid for a period of 6 months from the date it is given, or until the purpose described in Section 2 is fulfilled — whichever is earlier. If you wish to use this service again after that period, we will seek your consent afresh.
4. No Resale, No Aggregation for Resale, Confidentiality
We will not aggregate, retain beyond the permitted period, copy, reproduce, republish, sell, rent, or otherwise commercially exploit your Credit Information. We will keep your Credit Information confidential and share it only with the specific Lending Partner(s) you choose to apply through, strictly for the purpose of assessing your loan application — never as a separate, standalone transfer.
5. Data Purging
We will delete and purge your Credit Information once the purpose for which it was obtained is complete, or upon expiry of the consent period mentioned in Section 3, whichever is earlier — unless we are legally required to retain it for a longer period (for example, in connection with an active loan or a pending legal matter).
6. Bureau Not Liable for Our Use of Your Data
You understand that the Bureau is not responsible for how KreditScore subsequently uses your Credit Information once it has been delivered to us as your authorised representative. Any concern regarding our handling of your Credit Information should be raised with us directly using the contact details in Section 8.
7. Disputing Incorrect Information on Your Credit Report
If you notice any incorrect information in your credit report (for example, a loan or card you never took out), you can raise a dispute directly with the relevant Bureau:
- TransUnion CIBIL: https://www.cibil.com/dispute/
- Experian: https://consumer.experian.in/ECS/view/disputeResolutionDisputeForm
- Equifax: https://www.equifax.co.in/personal/dispute-resolution
- CRIF High Mark: https://www.crifhighmark.com/dispute-resolution
8. Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to support@kreditscore.in. Please note that withdrawing this consent may mean we are no longer able to assess your eligibility for loan products that require a credit check.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This consent is governed by the laws of India, including the Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005 and rules/regulations made thereunder, and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi.
